About The VAN DYKE ENDOWMENT FOR THE ARTS
Funding Arts Education in Malibu Public Schools
The Shark Fund, in partnership with Arlene & Dick Van Dyke, launched the Van Dyke Endowment for the Arts in June 2024 with the goal of raising a $3,000,000 endowment to support arts education in the four Malibu public schools.
To date, $200,000 has been raised and invested for the endowment, as the team continues to build upon that investment with ongoing outreach and events.
The endowment is currently managed by The Shark Fund, and proceed will be distributed to the schools on an annual basis in the Spring.

Donations received between August 20th at 12:01 AM and September 30th at 11:59 PM of $500 or more will automatically be entered to win one of the following prizes:
- Lunch for two with the Van Dykes. Date and location will be discussed with the winner. (one winner)
- Tickets to the next event at the Arlene & Dick Van Dyke Theater: Two priority seats for a December event in celebration of Dick Van Dyke's 99th birthday. Details currently being finalized. (2 winners)
- Limited Edition James Perse Van Dyke T-Shirt. Limited edition t-shirt created to celebrate the theater naming and launch of the endowment. Size 2 (M) only.
Drawing will take place on Monday, October 1st and Winners will be announced by 5PM.
Seat Naming Donations are eligible to win.
An additional entry will be provided for each increment of $500.
